The brief was simple: the wire is fire-retardant. So we gave it the worst enemy we could find. Every family has that one kid, the one who never actually got the chance to burn the house down but absolutely would if you left the room for thirty seconds.

Film excerpt. The full cut is on YouTube.

We took that kid, turned him up to eleven, and cast him as a pint-sized small-town don with a genuine grudge against the living room. Then we handed him a house wired with Smart Electricals and let him try his best. The wire wins. It doesn't even blink.

The product point sticks because the joke sticks. Nobody forgets the kid.

The centrepiece is a fully composited fire sequence. Sketched flame passes, a burning-wire element and smoke layered around the House Protection box, planned frame by frame before a single element was rendered.
